《감각 tran-sense-lation 횡단》(2025, 팩토리2), 《비무대지대: 드러내거나 넘고 뒤집으며》(2024, 포에버 갤러리) 등의 전시를 만들며 예술적 실천이 담론과 관계 맺는 방식을 탐구했다. 학부에서 커뮤니케이션과 철학을, 대학원에서 문화매개를 전공했고, 코리아나미술관과 서울시립미술관 학예팀에서 일했다. 장애예술, 인간-너머, 동물 연구를 비롯한 다층적인 서사에 관심을 두고 있으며 전시를 끊임없이 벌어지는 대화의 장으로 상상한다.
Jaea Kim is a curator and researcher whose curatorial practice engages with marginal ways of knowing and polyphonic narratives.
Through exhibitions such as 감각 Tran-sense-lation 횡단 (2025, Factory2) and Destaged Zone: To Reveal, Cross, and Flip (2024, Forever Gallery), she explores how artistic practices enter into dialogue with broader social and cultural discourses. Kim studied communication and philosophy as an undergraduate and cultural mediation at the graduate level, and has worked with the curatorial teams at the Coreana Museum of Art and the Seoul Museum of Art. Drawn to disability arts, the more-than-human, and animal studies, she imagines the exhibition as a site where conversations continue to unfold.
